- AI Conversations: If you use our Social Skills Guide Assistant, your messages are processed in real time by Anthropic (Claude) to generate responses. We do not permanently store conversation transcripts on our servers. Do not share sensitive personal, medical, or financial information with the assistant.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Pages visited, courses viewed, interactions with site features, referral source, device type, and browser — collected via Google Analytics in anonymised form.
- Cookies: We use essential cookies for theme preference storage and analytics cookies via Google Analytics. See Section 4 for details.
1.3 Information Stored Locally
- Skill Stack / Cart: Your course selections (Skill Stack) are stored in your browser's local storage — not on our servers. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it as a PDF.
- Theme Preference: Your light/dark mode preference is stored in local storage.
- Favourites and Filters: Any saved favourites or filter settings remain in your browser only.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To deliver and improve our course recommendation service
- To send newsletters (only if you opted in via our subscription form)
- To respond to your enquiries submitted through our contact form
- To analyse aggregate, anonymous site usage patterns to improve the user experience
